Following the success of our flagship Lumio product, we plan to open a US sales office as part of extensive company growth. This unique role will be the first in a series of sales hires. * OVERVIEW *
You will be joining at an exciting time as we scale the success of Lumio, our subscription software for elementary schools. As a member of the Sales Team, your goal is to establish a market share for Lumio and generate significant revenue growth. You will contact schools across the US over the phone to introduce our award-winning resources. A long term employed role will be available on successful completion of the contract.
* WORKING HOURS *
We operate during school hours so this role would suit someone looking to fit work around children. Working hours can be flexible but are restricted to within 8am to 8pm Eastern time. Full time or part time available on a pro rata basis.
* JOB DESCRIPTION *
School Sales Advisors are the main point of contact for new customers. The aim of the role is to get more schools using Lumio while building our reputation for great service. You will:
– Call schools to set up a free trial
– Demo the product
– Regularly contact and nurture leads
– Encourage schools to take a subscription
Lumio is a beautifully designed and highly competitive cross-platform learning product that consistently receives glowing feedback from schools. It is a pleasure to work with for candidates looking for a special product with a difference.
You will be working closely and communicating daily with senior managers, directors, and product developers. You will receive full training and ongoing coaching. Our team has extensive experience working remotely with US-based colleagues. We enjoy a friendly and collaborative work ethos; all team members are relied upon and trusted to ensure their work gets done to a high standard.
* REQUIREMENTS *
The ability to flourish in a home-working environment is essential. You must be able to fully communicate with co-workers and handle the day-to-day challenges of remote working across time zones. You will also be using your fantastic communication skills to get across our core message and values to teachers. You must be able to:
– Take ownership of generating new business
– Demonstrate understanding of the K-6 market
– Listen closely to understand schools’ needs
– Navigate complex school bureaucracy
– Quickly build a rapport with people at different levels
– Write well with excellent spelling & grammar
– Proficiently use online communication channels
